Swan's Island is an island town in Hancock County, Maine, United States. It is named after Colonel James Swan, of Fife, Scotland, who purchased the island and some surrounding areas and organized their colonization in the eighteenth century.

Minturn is a small village on the south side of Swan's Island, a part of Hancock County, Maine, United States. Its approximate latitude and longitude are 44°8’ N, 68°27’ W. Minturn is situated 1½ miles northeast of High Sheriff.
