Inlet is a town in Hamilton County, New York, United States. The population was 355 at the 2020 census, up from 333 in 2010. The name is derived from its location at the eastern end of Fourth Lake, part of the Fulton Chain of Lakes. Inlet is situated 3½ miles east of Bartons Island.

Old Forge is a village of about 750 people in the Adirondacks. As one of the western gateway communities of the Adirondack Park, Old Forge forms an extensive business district, primarily directed at tourism especially during the summer months.
