Spring Lake is a village in the town of Coventry, Rhode Island. The Johnson family were early owners of the land in the area and, in 1818, sold the property to Ezra Ramsdell to build a warp thread mill along the Mishnock River.

Quidnick is a village within the town of Coventry, Rhode Island. Before the American Revolution the area where Anthony and Quidnick are today was originally named Greeneville for the Greene Family who had operated an iron forge in the mid-18th century. Quidnick is situated 2 miles east of Mishnock River.
