The Stellafane Observatory is an astronomical observatory in Springfield, Vermont, founded in 1920 by Russell W. Porter. The Pink Clubhouse was built in 1923 at the site by the Springfield Telescope Makers. Stellafane is situated 2 miles northwest of Hardscrabble Corner.

The Eureka Schoolhouse is a historic school building at 470 Charlestown Road in the Goulds Mill village of Springfield, Vermont. Built in 1785, it is the oldest surviving schoolhouse in the state.

They were built in 1942 to provided housing for workers producing militarily important materials, and have survived with remarkably little alteration since then.
