Big Pine Mountain is a mountain located in the San Rafael Mountains of the California Transverse Ranges. High enough to receive snowfall during the winter, the summit, at 6,803+ feet, is the highest point in the San Rafael Mountains, the Dick Smith Wilderness, and Santa Barbara County. Big Pine Mountain is situated 1½ miles west of Alamar Guard Station.

Madulce Peak is a mountain located in the San Rafael Mountains, in the Transverse Ranges. It is the highest point of the Dick Smith Wilderness. The summit contains an old fire lookout that was constructed in the 1930s, but was burned down in the 1970s. Madulce Peak is situated 2 miles southeast of Alamar Guard Station.
