The Casa de la Guerra was the residence of the fifth commandant of the Presidio de Santa Barbara, José de la Guerra y Noriega, founder of the Guerra family of California from 1828 until his death in 1858.

Lobero Theatre

The Lobero Theatre is a historic performing arts theater in Santa Barbara, California. Founded in 1873 by José Lobero, it is California's oldest continuously operating theater.The original opera house was replaced in 1924 by the present theater, designed by George Washington Smith and Lutah Maria Riggs in the Spanish Colonial Revival style.

Paseo Nuevo

Paseo Nuevo is a 458,000-square-foot open-air shopping center spanning two city blocks of downtown Santa Barbara, California. It is integrated into the street grid on and around lower State Street via pedestrian promenades positioned mid-block at right angles to the surrounding streets, as are the traditional alleyways of the city's downtown.
