John Muir Trail
The John Muir Trail is a 221 mi long-distance hiking trail in the Sierra Nevada of California. Named for naturalist John Muir, it runs from Yosemite Valley to the summit of Mount Whitney, passing through Yosemite, Kings Canyon, and Sequoia National Parks; Devils Postpile; the Inyo and Sierra National Forests; and the John Muir Wilderness and Ansel Adams Wilderness.Photo: Peretz Partensky, CC BY-SA 2.0.
