Oregon City
Oregon City, formerly Bloomingdale and Hengy, is a ghost town located between Oroville and Cherokee in Butte County, California. One of the first mining camps in the county, it was established in the autumn of 1848 by a party of Oregonians, who came to California over the Applegate and Lassen trails.| Tap on a place to explore it |

Phantom Falls or Coal Canyon Falls is a waterfall at Coal Canyon near Oroville, California, within the North Table Mountain Ecological Reserve. The waterfall is 166 feet high and runs off the edge of Coal Canyon, in front of a grotto. Phantom Falls is situated 2 miles northwest of Oregon City.

The North Table Mountain Ecological Reserve is a nature reserve of 3,315 acres located three miles north of Oroville, in Butte County, northern California. The land was acquired by the state in October, 1993. North Table Mountain Ecological Reserve is situated 2½ miles west of Oregon City.
