Waikoloa Village or Waikōloa Village is a census-designated place in Hawaiʻi County, Hawaii, United States. The population was 6,362 at the 2010 census, up from 4,806 at the 2000 census. The spelling Waikoloa is used by the local post office.

Kawaihae is an unincorporated community on the west side of the island of Hawaiʻi in the U.S. state of Hawaiʻi, 35 miles north of Kailua-Kona. Its harbor is one of only three on the island, together with that of Hilo and Honokohau Harbor. Kawaihae is situated 5 miles northwest of Puako-Waimea Trail.
