The Peche Island Rear Range Light was a historic lighthouse "off Peche Island in the entrance to the Detroit River from Lake St. Clair." Located in American waters just north of the border to Canada it was moved to Marine City, Michigan upon its deactivation.

Marine City is a city in St. Clair County in the U.S. state of Michigan. Located on the west bank of the St. Clair River, it is one of the cities in the River District north of Detroit and south of Lake Huron.

Algonac is a city in St. Clair County of the U.S. state of Michigan. The population was 4,196 at the 2020 census. Incorporated as a village in 1867 and again as a city in 1967, Algonac is located at the southern end of the St. Clair River and contains a long boardwalk and riverfront park. Algonac State Park is located just north of the city. Algonac is situated 10 km southwest of Fawn Island.
