Fort St. Joseph is a former British outpost on the southernmost point of St. Joseph Island in Ontario, Canada, on Lake Huron. The fort consisted of a blockhouse, powder magazine, bakery building, Indian council house and storehouse surrounded by a palisade. Fort St. Joseph is situated 3 km west of Pirate Island.

DeTour Village is a village in Chippewa County in the U.S. state of Michigan. The population was 263 at the 2020 census. The village is at the extreme eastern tip of the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, in Detour Township, at the turning point for the shipping channel connecting the St. De Tour Village is situated 8 km south of Pirate Island.
