Hamilton Zoo is the main zoological garden of Hamilton, New Zealand. Covering 25 hectares, it is situated on Brymer Road in the Hamilton suburb of Rotokauri, on the outskirts of the metropolitan area towards the northwest.

Lake Rotokauri

Lake Rotokauri is located approximately 7 km to the northwest of Hamilton, New Zealand. It is a peat lake, and is one of the Waipa Peat lakes. The lake has a maximum depth of four metres and the open water covers approximately 77 hectares. Lake Rotokauri is situated 3 km northwest of Horseshoe Lake.
