Tarahi is a 388 m high andesite volcano, in the Kaikohe-Bay of Islands volcanic field in New Zealand. Northwest of Tarahi is a smaller, 350 m basaltic scoria cone, Haruru pā, before the higher cone of Te Ahuahu. Tarahi is situated 2½ km southeast of Pararataio Stream.
Lake Ōmāpere
Lake Ōmāpere is the largest lake in the Northland Region of New Zealand. It is located to the North of Kaikohe. The lake sits within the Kaikohe-Bay of Islands volcanic field. Lake Ōmāpere is situated 3 km west of Pararataio Stream.Putahi
