Lower Grotto

The Jeita Grotto is a system of two separate, but interconnected, karstic limestone caves spanning an overall length of nearly 9 kilometres. The caves are situated in the Nahr al-Kalb river valley within the locality of Jeita, 18 kilometres north of the Lebanese capital Beirut.

Dbayeh is a city in Lebanon located on the Mediterranean Sea in the Matn District, Mount Lebanon, between Beirut and Jounieh. Its inhabitants are almost predominantly Maronite Catholic, with a significant minority of Melkites. Dbayeh is situated 2½ km west of Ouâdi el Qorné.
