Namedy Castle is located in the Rhine valley, close to the village of Namedy in Andernach, Germany. Late gothic, moated castle originally belonging to the Husmann Knights of Andernach. Since 1909 in possession of the Rhenish line of the Hohenzollern dynasty.

Hammerstein Castle is the ruin of a 10th-century mountain castle in Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany, the oldest in this entire Middle Rhine Valley. The ruin of one of its watchtowers still overlooks the Rhine at an altitude of 195 m, near the village of Hammerstein.
