Kiel, Landeshauptstadt

Kiel is the capital city of the German state of Schleswig-Holstein and a major maritime hub on the Baltic Sea. Situated at the end of the "Kieler Förde", the city has a population of roughly 250,000 and remains one of Germany's main passenger ports.

The Kunsthalle zu Kiel is an art museum in the German city of Kiel. With 2,000 square metres of display space, it is the largest museum in the city. It is north of the city centre on Düsternbrooker Weg.
