The de l'Étoile, often simply called the , is one of the most famous monuments in , France. It is located at the western end of the , at the centre of —formerly known as Place de l'Étoile—named for the star-shaped configuration formed by the convergence of twelve radiating avenues. is situated 170 metres north of Avenue d’Iéna.
