Zaans Museum is a museum in Zaandam, Netherlands, located at the Zaanse Schans. It opened in 1998 to preserve and protect the heritage of the Zaan area. Zaans Museum is situated 220 metres south of Het Zwarte Kalf.

De Kat is the only remaining working windmill in the world which produces paint. The mill is in the Zaanse Schans, Zaanstad. De Kat is an octagonal smock mill. Robbert Kempenaar has been the head miller of De Kat since 2007. De Kat is situated 240 metres west of Het Zwarte Kalf.

De Zoeker is the name of an oil windmill, located in the Zaanse Schans, Zaanstad. Its purpose is to press seeds such as linseed and rapeseed into vegetable oil. De Zoeker is situated 270 metres west of Het Zwarte Kalf.
