Tverskaya Street, known between 1935 and 1990 as Gorky Street, is the main radial street in Moscow. The street runs Northwest from the central Manege Square in the direction of Saint Petersburg and terminates at the Garden Ring, giving the name to Tverskoy District.| Tap on a place to explore it |

The Bolshoi Theatre is a historic opera house in Moscow, Russia, originally designed by architect Joseph Bové. Before the October Revolution it was a part of the Imperial Theatres of the Russian Empire along with Maly Theatre in Moscow and a few theatres in Saint Petersburg. Bolshoi Theatre is situated 420 metres northeast of Twerskaja street.

The Yermolova Theatre is a theatre company in the Tverskoy District of central Moscow. It is under the artistic direction of Vladimir Andreyev. The theatre's building was built in the 1830s, and is one of the largest on Tverskaya Street. Yermolov Theatre is situated 150 metres northwest of Twerskaja street.
