Ystrad Peithyll

Ystrad Peithyll is the remains of a small 12th-century motte-and-bailey castle on the River Peithyll, near Penrhyn-coch in northern Ceredigion, Wales. The castle was attacked and destroyed by followers of Gruffydd ap Rhys in the early 12th century.

Penrhyn-coch is a small village in the community of Trefeurig, Ceredigion, Wales, located between Afon Stewi and Nant Seilo rivers, close to where they merge into Afon Clarach.

Bow Street is a large village in the Tirymynach district of Ceredigion, Wales, approximately 3.5 miles north-east of Aberystwyth. As well as Bow Street itself, it is now often considered to include the neighbouring smaller village of Pen-y-garn and the hamlet of Rhydypennau. Bow Street is situated 3½ miles west of Trefeurig.

Bont Goch is a village in Ceredigion, Wales, 2 miles northeast of Aberystwyth. With Talybont, it is in the community of Ceulanamaesmawr. The historic name was Elerch, which may be related to the name of the river Leri which flows through the area.
