Llanuwchllyn

Llanuwchllyn is a village and community in Gwynedd, Wales, near the southern end of Llyn Tegid. It is one of the most sparsely populated communities in Wales.

Carndochan Castle is a ruined stone castle near Llanuwchllyn, Gwynedd, north Wales. It was probably built in the early thirteenth century and is a Scheduled Ancient Monument.

Llanuwchllyn railway station in the village of Llanuwchllyn, Gwynedd, Wales, was formerly a station on the Ruabon to Barmouth line. It closed to passengers on Monday 18 January 1965 at the same time as the rest of the line, but subsequently reopened in 1972 as the southern terminus of the narrow gauge Bala Lake Railway.

Llangywer is a community near Bala, Gwynedd, Wales. It is in the historic county of Merionethshire, and is located on the south side of Llyn Tegid. In 2011 the population of Llangywer was 260, with 67.2% of them able to speak Welsh. Llangywer is situated 3½ miles northeast of Llanuwchllyn.
