Thundry Meadows

Thundry Meadows is a 16-hectare nature reserve in Elstead in Surrey. It is managed by the Surrey Wildlife Trust. Part of it is Charleshill Site of Special Scientific Interest.

Waverley Abbey

Waverley Abbey was the first Cistercian abbey in England, founded in 1128 by William Giffard, the Bishop of Winchester. Located about 2 miles southeast of Farnham, Surrey, it is situated on a flood-plain; surrounded by current and previous channels of the River Wey.

Hankley Common

Hankley Common is a 560-hectare nature reserve and filming location in the south-west of Elstead in Surrey. The site is part of the Thursley, Hankley and Frensham Commons Special Area of Conservation, Special Protection Area and Site of Special Scientific Interest.

Compton is a former village and today a semi-rural suburb centred 1 mile ESE of Farnham in the Waverley district of Surrey, England and connected to Farnham by two direct urban single carriageways and green space footpaths along the Wey which in part marks the northern boundary of the area together with the A31. Compton is situated 3 miles northwest of Elstead.

Milford

Milford is a village in the civil parish of Witley and Milford south west of Godalming in Surrey, England. It was a small village in the early medieval period — it grew significantly after the building of the Portsmouth Direct Line which serves Godalming railway station and its own minor stop railway station. Milford is situated 3½ miles east of Elstead.
