The Lochmaben Stone is a megalith on the shore of the Solway Firth in Dumfries and Galloway, Scotland. It lies by the mouth of the Kirtle Water, near the town of Gretna.

Milecastle 73 was one of a series of Milecastles or small fortlets built at intervals of approximately one Roman mile along Hadrian's Wall. Milecastle 73 is situated 2½ miles south of Rockcliffe.
