MOD Shoeburyness is a Ministry of Defence installation, managed by QinetiQ, at Pig's Bay near Shoeburyness in Essex. The site consists of a range covering a land area of 7,500 acres with 35,000 acres of tidal sands and 21 operational firing areas.
