The Taj Mahal is an ivory-white marble mausoleum on the right bank of the river Yamuna in Agra, Uttar Pradesh, India. It was commissioned in 1631 by the fifth Mughal emperor, Shah Jahan, to house the tomb of his beloved wife, Mumtaz Mahal; it also houses the tomb of Shah Jahan himself. Taj Mahal is situated 430 metres north of Taj Mahal.

Mehtab Bagh is a charbagh complex in Agra, North India. It lies north of the Taj Mahal complex and the Agra Fort on the opposite side of the Yamuna River, in the flood plains. Mehtab Bagh is situated 1 km north of Taj Mahal.

Taj Mahal metro station is the under-ground station of the Yellow Line of the Agra Metro. This station is owned by the Uttar Pradesh Metro Rail Corporation, and was opened to the public on 6 March 2024. Taj Mahal metro station is situated 780 metres southwest of Taj Mahal.
