al-Faluja was a Palestinian Arab village in the British Mandate for Palestine, located 30 kilometers northeast of Gaza City. Al-Faluja absorbed settlers from various areas, including Dura. Al-Faluja Town is situated 760 metres west of Tsomet Pelogot.

It is also known by the name ʻIrâq el-Menshiyeh, although thought to have borne the original Arabic name of Menshiyet es-Saḥalīn. Tel Erani is situated 3 km southeast of Tsomet Pelogot.
