Kiryat Shmona Airport is a public Israeli airport located 2 km east of the northern town of Kiryat Shmona. The airport is operated by Kiryat Shmona Travellers Inc.

Al-Khalisa was a Palestinian Arab village situated on a low hill on the northwestern edge of the Hula Valley of over 1,800 located 28 kilometers north of Safad. It was depopulated in the 1948 Palestine war.

Kiryat Shmona is a city in the Northern District of Israel on the western slopes of the Hula Valley near the Lebanese border. In 2023 it had a population of 24,254. Located near the Israel–Lebanon border, Kiryat Shmona is Israel's northernmost city.

Beit Hillel is a moshav in northern Israel. Located on the west bank of the Hasbani River, about 5 kilometres from Kiryat Shmona, its 3,500 dunams fall under the jurisdiction of Mevo'ot HaHermon Regional Council. As of 2023, it had a population of 1,083.
