The Monastery of Euthymius started as a lavra-type monastic settlement in the Judaean desert, founded by Saint Euthymius the Great in 420, known as the Laura or Lavra of Euthymius. Monastery of Euthymius is situated 4 km southeast of Nofei Prat.
El-Jai cave

El-Jai cave is a sizable karstic cave located in a cliff within the northern Judaean Desert, in the modern-day West Bank. The El-Jai cave served as a refuge cave for Jewish rebels during the late phase of the Bar Kokhba revolt, around 135 CE. El-Jai cave is situated 3 km northwest of Nofei Prat.
