Verftsbrua, also popularly called Blomsterbrua, is a bridge at the bay of Trondheim. The bridge, built in 2003, spans 125 metres. The name Verftsbrua comes from the nearby shipyard, Trondhjems mekaniske Værksted, while the name Blomsterbrua is due to the bridge featuring flowerbeds along its edges. Verftsbrua is situated 110 metres east of Brattørbrua.

Olavshallen was built in 1989 as a concert hall and is named after a historical tradition in Trondheim, Norway, the St. Olav tradition. The foundation stone was laid by HM King Olav V 22 July 1988. Olavshallen Concert Hall is situated 170 metres southwest of Brattørbrua.

The 0.485-square-kilometre island is located at the mouth of the river Nidelva just north of the city centre, west of Nyhavna, and south of Trondheimsfjord.
