Tel Hazor, translated in LXX as Hasōr, and in Arabic Tell Waqqas or Tell Qedah el-Gul, is an archaeological tell at the site of ancient Hazor, located in the Upper Galilee, north of the Sea of Galilee, in the northern Korazim Plateau. Tel Hazor is situated 3½ km west of Wādī an Nāshif.

The castle was built during the Crusades by the Knights Templar and the forces of the Kingdom of Jerusalem but was destroyed by the army of Saladin in 1179. Ayelet HaShahar is situated 2½ km west of Wādī an Nāshif.
