The Colosseum is an elliptical amphitheatre in the centre of the city of Rome, Italy, just east of the Roman Forum. It is the largest ancient amphitheatre ever built, and is the largest standing amphitheatre in the world. Coliseum is situated 1 km east of Cecilia Suites Rome.

Cloaca Maxima

The Cloaca Maxima or, less often, Maxima Cloaca, is one of the world's earliest sewage systems. Its name is related to that of Cloacina, a Roman goddess. Cloaca Maxima is situated 220 metres north of Cecilia Suites Rome.

The Basilica of Saint Mary in Cosmedin is a minor basilican church in Rome, Italy, dedicated to the Virgin Mary. It is located in the rione of Ripa. Constructed first in the sixth century as a diaconia in an area of the city populated by Greek immigrants, it celebrated Eastern rites and currently serves the Melkite Greek Catholic community of Rome. Santa Maria in Cosmedin is situated 140 metres north of Cecilia Suites Rome.
