Jacob’s Ford

Chastelet also known as Beytulahzan was a castle located beside Jacob's Ford, a ford of the upper Jordan River in Israel. The castle was built during the Crusades by the Knights Templar and the forces of the Kingdom of Jerusalem but was destroyed by the army of Saladin in 1179. Jacob’s Ford is situated 3½ km north of ‘En Mantur.

Mishmar HaYarden is a moshav in northern Israel. Located in the Korazim Plateau, on Highway 91 between Mahanayim and Gadot, it falls under the jurisdiction of Mevo'ot HaHermon Regional Council. In 2024 it had a population of 962. Mishmar HaYarden is situated 4 km northwest of ‘En Mantur.
