The area surrounding Kaldjorda is known as Innlandet or Hadsel Innland and it includes the neighboring villages of Hennes, Kvitnes, Kvantoelv, and Fiskfjord. Kaldjorda is situated 3½ km northeast of Hamnneshaugen.
