Camp Al-Saqr, referred to by some media sources as Camp Falcon, Forward Operating Base Falcon, Joint Security Station Falcon, or Combat Outpost Falcon, was a United States military forward operating base in Iraq a short distance outside Baghdad, some 13 kilometres south of the Green Zone. Camp Al-Saqr is situated 3½ km southeast of Jāmi‘ al Imām ‘Alī as Sajjād.

A once middle-class district, much of Al-Saydiya was built within the last three decades on prime real estate between Baghdad Airport Road and the main highway where it forks into central Baghdad and south to Basra.
