Maughold Head Lighthouse

Maughold Head Lighthouse is an active 20th century lighthouse, located on the headland of the same name at the southern end of Ramsey Bay on the eastern coast of the Isle of Man. Completed in 1914, it was designed by David A and Charles Stevenson.

Maughold is one of the seventeen parishes of the Isle of Man. It is named for St Maughold, the island's patron saint. It is located on the east of the island in the sheading of Garff.

Ballure is a small hamlet about 0.75 mile southeast of Ramsey on the Isle of Man. A stop on the Manx Electric Railway which runs through it is the Ballure Halt station. Ballure is situated 4 km northwest of Maughold.
