Amathus
Amathus or Amathous was one of the ancient royal cities of Cyprus until about 300 BC. Some of its remains can be seen today on the southern coast in front of Agios Tychonas, about 6 miles east of Limassol and 24 miles west of Larnaca.- Opening hours:

Moni Power Station
Power station
Moni Power Station is the second power plant the Electricity Authority of Cyprus built. It is located some 20 kilometres east of Limassol. Construction started in the 1960s and when completed it consisted of six steam turbogenerators each having a capacity of 30 MW. Moni Power Station is situated 3½ km east of Amathus.
