Pujehun is the capital of Pujehun District in the Southern Province. The current estimate of the population of Pujehun is 20,121 people. Pujehun is a rural town and is the commercial and administrative center of Pujehun District. Pujehun is situated 4½ km northwest of Manjama.

Gerihun is a small town in Bo District in southern Sierra Leone. In late April 1996, an attack on the town led its residents and the more than 20,000 inhabitants of a displaced camp in the vicinity to flee to Bo. Gerihun is situated 9 km north of Manjama.
