Glasgow Central, usually referred to in Scotland as just Central or Central Station, is one of two principal main line rail terminals in Glasgow, Scotland. Glasgow Central Station is situated 1,200 feet east of Glasgow City Centre (Argyle Street).

The Lighthouse is the renamed conversion of the former offices of the Glasgow Herald newspaper. Completed in 1895, it was designed by the architect Charles Rennie Mackintosh. The Lighthouse is situated 1,700 feet east of Glasgow City Centre (Argyle Street).

Anderston is an area within inner Glasgow, Scotland. It is on the north bank of the River Clyde and forms the south western edge of the city centre. Established as a village of handloom weavers in the early 18th century, Anderston was an independent burgh of barony from 1824 until it was incorporated into the City of Glasgow in 1846.
