Nephin or Nefin, at 806 metres, is the highest standalone mountain in Ireland and the second-highest peak in Connacht. It is to the west of Lough Conn in County Mayo. Nephin is situated 4 km northeast of Prughlish.

Lahardane, also sometimes spelled Lahardaun, is a village in the parish of Addergoole, County Mayo, Ireland, adjacent to Lough Conn and to Nephin, and close to the towns of Crossmolina, Castlebar and Ballina. The 2016 census recorded a population of 178. Lahardaun is situated 7 km northeast of Prughlish.
