The Singapore Zoo, formerly known as the Singapore Zoological Gardens or Mandai Zoo, is a 28 hectares zoo located on the margins of Upper Seletar Reservoir within Singapore's heavily forested central catchment area. Singapore Zoo is situated 3½ km north of Central Water Catchment.

Upper Peirce Reservoir Park is a 5 hectares park besides Upper Peirce Reservoir. It was opened by the then Prime Minister Lee Kuan Yew on 27 February 1977.

Night Safari is the world's first nocturnal zoo, located in Mandai, Singapore. One of the country's most popular tourist attractions, it is one of five Mandai Wildlife Reserve parks, including Singapore Zoo, Bird Paradise, River Wonders, and Rainforest Wild ASIA. Night Safari is situated 3 km northwest of Central Water Catchment.
