The Singapore River forms a central artery in 's densely packed Central Business District. The north bank of the river is where Raffles landed and founded his colony, and to this day many central government buildings can be found in the area.

The is a public dedicated to art, culture and history. Located within the country's at the area, it is the oldest museum in the country, with its history dating back to when it was first established in 1849, starting out as a section of a library at the Singapore Institution as the Raffles Library and Museum.

Park
is a famous Singapore landmark and a major tourist attraction, located at , , near the Central Business District. The is a mythical creature with a lion's head and the body of a fish that is widely used as a mascot and national personification of Singapore.
