HaMasrek Reserve

HaMasrek Reserve is a nature reserve situated in the western Jerusalem Mountains, Israel, near moshav Beit Meir. HaMasrek Reserve is renowned and named for its prominent stand of Jerusalem pine trees, which are approximately 170 years old.

Bayt Mahsir

Bayt Mahsir was a Palestinian Arab village in the Jerusalem Subdistrict. It was depopulated during the 1947–48 Civil War in Mandatory Palestine on May 10, 1948, by the Harel Brigade of Operation Makkabi. It was located 9 km west of Jerusalem.

Horvat Mazad or Khirbet el-Qasr is an archaeological site located in the Jerusalem District of Israel. Occupied intermittently from the Late Bronze Age to the modern period, its main phase occurred between the 2nd century BCE and the 1st century CE, when it was developed into a fortified complex by the Hasmonean and Herodian dynasties before being abandoned during the First Jewish–Roman War.

Beit Meir is a religious moshav in central Israel. Located around nine miles from Jerusalem, just off the Highway 1, it falls under the jurisdiction of Mateh Yehuda Regional Council. In 2023 it had a population of 650.

Shoresh is a moshav shitufi in central Israel. Located five kilometres from Sha'ar HaGai in the Jerusalem corridor, it falls under the jurisdiction of Mateh Yehuda Regional Council. In 2023 it had a population of 1,314.
