Timure is a small town and headquarter of ward no. 2 of Gosaikund rural municipality. It is about 19 km north from Syaphru. Previously Timure was a village development committee in Rasuwa District in the Bagmati Zone of northern Nepal. Timure is situated 9 km east of Jarokharka.

Rasuwa Fort or Rasuwa Gadhi is a historical fort ruin in the Rasuwa District of Nepal roughly at the border with Tibet, China. It is located along the Trishuli River 3 kilometres north of the Nepalese town of Timure in Langtang National Park, yet 25 km south of the nearest locality of China at Gyirong Town. Rasuwa Fort is situated 10 km east of Jarokharka.
