Roopkund, locally known as Mystery Lake or Skeleton Lake, is a high-altitude glacial lake in Himalayas at an altitude of 5,020 metres, between Trishul peak and Nanda Ghunti peak, in the Chamoli District of Uttarakhand state of India.
