Pratica di Mare Air Base is a military airport of the Italian Air Force, located in Pomezia, Lazio, southwest of Rome. It was first opened in 1937, and in 1957, it was named after Colonnello Mario de Bernardi.

Zoomarine Rome-Italy is a zoological park, oceanarium, amusement park and water park, located in Lazio, southwest of Rome, in Torvajanica, Pomezia. Inaugurated in September 2005, it is owned by Dolphin Discovery from August 2015. Zoomarine is situated 3½ km southeast of Zion Beach.

The beach of Capocotta is the area of the Roman coast between Castel Porziano and Torvaianica, one of the best preserved stretches of dunes in Italy. With an extension of 45 hectares, since 1996 it is part of the Litorale Romano State Nature Reserve.
