Nathu La is a mountain pass in the Dongkya Range of the Himalayas between China's Yadong County in Tibet, and the Indian states of Sikkim. The pass, at 4,310 m, connects the towns of Kalimpong and Gangtok to the villages and towns of the lower Chumbi Valley.

Menmecho Lake is a mountain lake located in Gangtok district in the Indian state of Sikkim. It lies on the way to the Jelep Pass and is situated 20 kilometres ahead of the Lake Tsomgo. Lake Menmecho is situated 4 km south of Sherathang.
