Artsvanist is a village in the Martuni Municipality of the Gegharkunik Province of Armenia, located to the south of Lake Sevan. In the gorge south of the village is the important early 10th century monastery of Vanevan and a large but broken medieval khachkar monument nearby. Artsvanist is situated 3 km east of Tsovinari Sepagir.

Vardenik is a village in the Martuni Municipality of the Gegharkunik Province of Armenia, that sits along the Vardenis River. The cyclopean fort ruins of Kaftarli are located 3 km south of the village, with petroglyphs being present downhill along the bank of the river, among additional historic monuments. Vardenik is situated 4½ km southwest of Tsovinari Sepagir.
