is an active stratovolcano on Saunders Island in the remote South Sandwich Islands of the South Atlantic Ocean. It is one of only a few volcanoes on Earth confirmed to host a persistent lava lake within its summit crater.

is a small plain just south of at the north end of , South Sandwich Islands. This lowland feature is made up of dark basaltic lavas and, in 1964, personnel from HMS Protector found it to be the only area of the island free from ice and snow.
