Ranganathittu Bird Sanctuary, is a bird sanctuary in the Mandya District of Karnataka, in India. It is the largest bird sanctuary in the state, 40 acres in area, and comprises six islets on the banks of the Kaveri river.

Srirangapatna, anglicised to Seringapatam during the British Raj, is a town in Mandya district of Karnataka, India. On an island in the Cauvery River, the town of Srirangapatna was once the fortress capital of the region controlled by Hyder Ali and his son Tipu Sultan.
