Knock Castle is a private residence on the outskirts of Largs, on the west coast of Scotland. It was built by A member of the shipbuilding Steele family in 1851, with a further wing added in the early twentieth century.

Skelmorlie is a village in North Ayrshire in the southwest of Scotland. Although it is the northernmost settlement in the council area of North Ayrshire it is contiguous with Wemyss Bay, which is in Inverclyde, and has a PA zone postcode unlike the rest of Ayrshire which is in the KA zone. Skelmorlie is situated 1½ miles north of Meigle Bay.

Wemyss Bay is a village on the coast of the Firth of Clyde in Inverclyde in the west central Lowlands of Scotland. It is in the traditional county of Renfrewshire. Wemyss Bay is situated 2 miles north of Meigle Bay.
